Workshop Wednesday: Foam Roller Weds 4th May, 7pm

You gotta roll with it, you got to take your time...then you can run forever!

Every six to eight weeks, we will be holding a workshop on Wednesday, specific to running. Those coming up include yoga for runners, and Core performance for Runners.
Our first in the series on May 4th is a foam roller workshop which will be taken by Lily Rose Double, who is a highly experienced trainer and remedial soft tissue therapist.
What will foam rollering do for you?
It is the single most VITAL injury prevention tool you can use AND it helps improve performance.
Ever suffered runners knee and thought your running career was over? Roller regularly and you should be sorted.
As well as explaining why the foam roller is so important, the one hour workshop on Hove Lawns opposite 4th Avenue will also demonstrate how to use the foam roller, specific to runners. It will also touch upon the benefits of using the new form of roller, The Grid.
You must bring your own foam roller. They are available from NIck Rivett Sport, 64 Church Road, Hove with a 10% discount for FB runners. Alternatively buy online [Amazon] and go for a 66 Fit Elite Foam roller. It comes in two sizes, 15x45cm which is great for legs although for a more versatile option get the 15cm x 90cm.
