Wednesday 22nd June: Pace Session

Go faster watches!

Want to become a faster runner? Or are you more of a ‘I want a better bum’ runner? Whichever it is, pace running is vital.
If you continue to run at the same speed and don’t challenge your muscles, your fitness and running speed (or your butt size, depending on what your motivation is) won’t improve. Come and join us for a session on pace running. It’s the kind of thing that you really DON’T want to do alone.
If you have a heart rate monitor and did our workshop on heart rate training a few weeks ago, bring your watch along and use what you have learned. But don’t worry if you haven’t got a HRM, they are not necessary. You will be able to feel that you’re working hard!
This session is for beginners and the experienced alike as we will ensure you are in a group with runners of a similar level of ability.
Location: Meet life guard hut on corner of Hove Street South
Time: 7-8pm
Parking: Seafront parking meters or King Alfred Leisure Centre
Trainers: Rachael (Lead) & Katie B
Cost: £5 drop in
