Get your skates on! Not long to go before the FitBitch Running Club start our 16 week training programme to take us to half marathon and 10k races – we’re all going to Palma, Majorca to put our training to use. But, you can train with us and use it to enter a race anywhere – there is a Half Marathon at the same time in Tonbridge, Kent, the Great North Run and many more. Even if you don’t fancy entering a race, our sessions will help strengthen you as a runner and increase your distance. Pip, above went from a non-runner to half marathon and you can ALWAYS tell a FitBitch by their sprint finish!
This Sunday, 26th June sees lots of FitBitch Running action – 10 of us are running in the Stanmer Park 8k Trail Race, with many first time runners taking on their first ever race. For those who are coming, meet at the car park at 9.15am, bring water and safety pins for your number.
If you are not doing the race but want to enjoy a country run with the help of our two fabulous FB running coaches, Melissa and Katie, scan for details of tomorrow’s run. Don’t worry if you have not been before, it’s open to all. Just text the number on the post to let them know you’re coming. And you won’t get left behind – we have someone running front and back!
