We’re always thinking of new and exciting runs at Fitbitch and this Sunday we are heading East (Brighton that is!). Starting at the top of Bullock Hill in Woodingdean, we’ll head out towards Kingston-near-Lewes using the single tracks that criss-cross the South Downs.
If you’re planning on running a half marathon or 10k in the Autumn, it’s important that you do one long run a week to build your endurance. Gradually increase the distance each week to avoid injury so choose one of the three distances to best suit you from the links below.
Running with other people means you are more likely to achieve your distance and we’ll be running at a steady pace to ensure we cover the miles, chat and take in the scenery. With 360 degree views of the South Downs, this route makes you feel like you’re miles from anywhere, yet we’ll never be far from civilization.
We will all start from the car park, the intermediate and short routes are smaller loops of the long route.
Meet: 8.30am Car park just behind Woodingdean Business Park – Travelling north along Falmer Road, take the 1st right after Bexhill Road. If your travelling South from the A27, it’s the left turn at the brow of the hill, as you arrive at Woodingdean, just before Bexhill Road and the Business Park. Post code for sat nav: BN2 6NT
