Even if you can’t make this Wednesday’s (tonight!) training for beginners/returnees, don’t be put off coming this weekend.
We are now entering a new cycle of training, to enable new runners and those returning to running to join us. As many of our runners enter this weekend’s Brighton Half Marathon, you may think ‘Ooh, I’ll never be like one of those runners.’
Of course, there is no pressure for you to be so, but somehow, with the camaraderie, proper training methods and enjoyable Sunday runs, the Fitbitch effect does seem to take hold.
Just ask any of the women who are lining up on that start line this weekend. Most of them started training with us, hoping that one day they would be able to run 5k – and enjoy it!
Of course, it’s nice to start with a group of women who are at the same level and this is what this Saturday’s run is all about.
It will be between 3-5miles, so you can choose which you would like to do.
What is more, it will be a flat route so that you can build your distance and feel confident. No tricky route directions so its easy to turn around when you feel you have run as far as you can.
This run will be gentle and we will focus on technique and running tips that can help progress your running.
