Jolly Jubilee Jog! – Training run Sunday 3rd June

Join the Fitbitch crew for the Jubilee run

This Sunday we will all set out together for a right regal run covering 4 miles, 5 miles and 8 miles in accordance with your training schedules or abilities.

Starting at Brighton Marina, we will run up the racecourse gallops where the 4 mile group will turn back. The 5 mile group will run back via Wick Bottom. The 8 mile group will run back to the marina via Ovingdean and the seafront.

As always, there will be a trainer and running ambassador to support each group, but it’s a good idea to make a mental note of your turning point. It’s easy to miss your turn when you’re chatting!

Running 4 miles – turn back at the top of the gallops.

Running 5 miles – turn at the top of gallops but run back via the Wick Bottom path

Running 8 miles – turn right at the top of the gallops, back via B2123 Ovingdean road

For Beginners and Friston Foresters this is an important training run to condition your body on off-road terrain. The undulating routes will deliver a double whammy of muscle and cardiovascular strengthening.

So if you need to run off the tea-party sandwiches and scones, or you just need to clear your head after one too many Pimms, come and join us on Sunday.

Please comment below if you are joining us to ensure we provide the right level of trainer support.
