Repeatedly running the same pace trains your body to run efficiently at that speed and distance. But if you want to run faster, you need to train faster. Push your body beyond that comfort zone and reap the rewards with better race times.
And it’s not only speedwork that can make you a faster runner; strength work is a key part of your training programme that will help you to stay injury free.
