The only way to get your glow on - run the Fitbitch way

The only way to get your glow on – run the Fitbitch way

Please note our beginners running course will meet in the same place with Karen. For drop in run club please read below.

After last week’s strength and conditioning session, build on your running foundations with this our pace seafront session.

We will again be going over a few technique pointers with our metronome cadence and (don’t worry if you’ve not done it before now, we’ll go through it) ladder work to give you poise before the pace.

This will take up a short warm up section before we go into a pace session suited for all levels, whether beginners and new to us or our regulars.

If you’re a total beginner, these pace sessions work to help build you distance with a break between each distance. One of our regulars, you know what to expect!

ALL bookings must now be made online here except for Rise 8k Runners. If you are a Rise runner please comment below to let us know if you are coming.

Location: Hove seafront lifeguard hut, adjacent to Hove Street South. Parking in King Alfred Centre car park

Time: 7.25pm for a  7.30pm start time

Coach: Rachael

Cost: £5 online here

Sunday running. Beginners or a hilly 10 mile option. 15th September.

Running is never a lonely road with Fitbitch

Running is never a lonely road with Fitbitch

We are offering two distances this week to cater for our Amsterdam half runners and for Brooks 10k and Rise 8k runners. The shorter option is two miles on a flat route which is an out and back run, good for beginners and those starting their Brooks 10k training. This will be on the Undercliffs, starting at the Marina so it’s also a good run to do as part of the Rise 8k training. Covering some of the route of your race is a great way to feel inspired and gain momentum for race day itself. There’s no pressure for pace. Our fantastic Running Ambassador Tor will help you with running tips and techniques and give plenty of encouragement.

The 10 mile route has a combination of terrain and incline and like all of our runs, takes in beautiful scenery. There’s sea and countryside all in one run. We have a lead and a back up runner on this distance so all paces are welcome as long as you are up to the distance and have recently ran at least 9 miles .

ALL BOOKINGS TO BE MADE HERE – under Sunday running. Price: £10. Payable online only.

MEET: Brighton marina. Asda car park. 10 mile runners park in the multi – storey to prevent getting a ticket.

TIME: 8.15 am to start at 8.30.

Coaches. 10 miles: Kate and Melissa. 2 miles: Tor.  Phone contact for the day: 07702983744 (Kate)

Please note that due to our large numbers anticipated for this week’s running session, we are going to change this week’s training session to Hove Park (bring your Jungle Formula repellent – there’s bugs about! Then again, you’ll be running too fast to let them catch you!)

Please ALL meet by the basketball courts, including our new 0-5k course runners.

Remember ALL BOOKINGS, including the drop in fees MUST now be done online (course/annual members just comment here as our software whizz kids are not being so whizzy!).

Please meet at the basketball courts at Hove Park. Rise Runners please check with Rachael when you arrive. 0-5k runners with Karen.

Time: 7.30pm – see you there!
