Run & Replenish in Rottingdean, Sunday 1st September

Our Sunday runs are now beginning to buid in miles for our Amsterdam/Royal Park runners, who will be running 8miles this week.

Meanwhile our Bacchus Half Marathon runners are just a week away from race day, and we will be building on their confidence with a 13mile run (with a 10mile get out escape route for those who want it).

Both routes start out from Rottingdean (different location meeting points please read below) and will head up until you will overlook Lewes and Kingston. The longer route will head across and down via Telscombe before doing a short out and back on the seafront to make up the miles – or to give the 10milers their escape route!

Borrowing a little bit from our sister running brand, Have Your Cake & Run Club, we’ll also be holding out a carrot to our runners this week – replenish with a cream tea in the village at the end and get to know your running mates in Amsterdam or Bacchus.

Annual members, you have been provided with a special code so that you can book without paying. Those who have purchased event packages you can just come.

Time: 8.15am for a strict 8.30am departure

Price: £10 payable online ONLY. This run is open to new members but only if you can currently run the distance and have done so within the last four weeks.

Fancy a social run with expert coaching thrown in, plus a post run coffee this Sunday?

Whether you are just someone looking to run with a group, or you are part of our crew training for the Kamikaze, Heroes 10k or Tough Mudder/South Downs Half Marathon, don’t miss this weekend’s run as we begin to build distance.

There will be a four mile (just over) run and a 7mile (just over if you like, not if you don’t!) which will challenge you on the hills but reward you with stunning vistas, soaring endorphins…and some great technique skills as we coach (coax ?) you uphill.

Coffee or brekkie at Stanmer Park House afterwards for anyone who wants to stay around.

Hurrah no hills!

A scenic start to 2013.

It’s our first Sunday training session of 2013 and we’re ready to make dreams a reality. Whether it’s to improve general fitness, gain a pb, run your first marathon, enjoy a social run or lose some Christmas pounds, our sessions are a great way to meet your goals and keep you focused.

Half and full marathon training are both 10 miles this Sunday and it’s flat. For those who are training for the full marathon you will be encouraged to work on negative splits, running the second half at a slightly faster pace. If you learn to conserve your resources for the first part of the run, they’ll be available to you in the later stage as you pass the surviving shufflers.

Location: Meet car park by Lower Beach Road, Shoreham-by-Sea – map here. you will need to pay for parking but it is cheap. If the car park is still closed, there is street parking nearby. Comment if you need a lift. Even if you are a new runner with us, please don’t be afraid to ask. PLEASE NOTE THE 5 MILE ROUTE FOR OUR NEW RUNNER’S ‘CATCH UP’ STARTS AT HOVE SEAFRONT.

NEW beginner’s & returners groups starting

Want to learn how to run, or get to the stage where it feels easier?

Or can you already run but just want to get to the stage where you can run for longer?

Then join our next beginners and returners to running groups.

Our next 0 to 10k beginners group starts 18th July.

This will follow an eight week training programme to 10k, finishing with your race goal of either the Firle 7miles on 9th September, Regents Park 10k on Sept 2nd or the Hove Prom 10k on September 10th.

Price: £43 for 8 runs or £71, for 15 runs, including a training plan and race t-shirt.

The first session on Weds 18th July will be a biomechanics session where we will assess your gait, posture and running style to help you build the foundations of a healthy, injury free, efficient runner.

10k to Firle Half Marathon group, starts 2nd July

This will follow a ten week programme training for the Firle Half Marathon on 9th September so you must be able to run 10k comfortably already.

Price: £51 for 10 runs or £87 for 19 runs, including a training plan plus race t-shirt.

To book email info@fitbitchbootcamp.com clearly stating your name, which package (including the number of runs) that you wish to purchase and the size of t-shirt.

Please note that this cost does not cover entry fees to the race. Training is on Weds at 7.30pm and Sunday’s at 8.30am. YOu need to subscribe to this site for information about the training runs which we publish on a weekly basis.

Gain your middle distance legs, Sun 11th March

Please note, there will be another run posted for beginners on Sunday, and also a Marathon route too.

This route is for those who are already running regularly but who want to run socially with a group to help improve their enjoyment  – and their speed. And for those training for the Berlin 25k and Half Marathon.

Choose between a 9mile, 10mile and 12mile distance, starting from Rottingdean and going up over the Downs, overlooking Lewes to one side of the Downs and Breaky Bottom vineyard to the other.

We will all run together (looping back to work on pace if someone is at the back for those who want).

The 9mile route will end back at our start point, where the 10 and 12 mile route will continue on for a further loop.

Please comment if you are coming, and which distance you are aiming for.

The route is mapped for those who have paid for the plan or are subscribed to our running club.
